Colt Starting
At Davis Performance horses we believe in giving each horse a well rounded foundation to set them up for long term success. Our program is a minimum of 90 days, during which the horse will learn a variety of skills.

We start with ground work to introduce all the elements of riding, helping the horse to have the best first ride possible. Once we have them under saddle we expose the horse to as much as we can, such as trail riding, working the flag/cattle, and roping. Regardless of the direction you wish to finish the horse, we do our best to give each horse a positive introduction to it's riding career.

Studs, Geldings, and Mares accepted.
We offer finishing for a variety of disciplines, including Ranch Versatility, Cutting, and Reined Cowhorse. Finishing is offered for horse that are well started and just needs the finishing touches put on, as well as developing young horses from starting all the way through a finished discipline.
